It all started back in 2022 when Bree & Matthew rescued October (Toby) in Los Angeles and Linus in Tucson, AZ.
Toby & Linus are hairless, which inspired Bree & Matthew to look for clothing options for their pups. What they found ultimately disappointed them and left them craving something that was as fun and full of personality as their dogs.
Then in February of 2023, Bree came to Matthew with an idea - a clothing brand dedicated to making vibrant, size-inclusive, matching clothing for humans and their pets. A few moments later, Matthew came back to Bree with a business plan and the rest was history.

FAQ
Are your clothes for dogs or for cats?
Both! Each Toby & Linus clothing item fits most cats and dogs comfortably! Please refer to our size guide or email us at contact@tobyandlinus.com for sizing recommendations.
What if I don't have a dog or cat?
That's okay! While we have only worked with dog and cat models, we have had one pig customer who was very pleased with his sweater. If you have a quadrupedal pet that you would like to buy clothes for, please refer to our size guides and feel free to reach out to us at contact@tobyandlinus.com
What if I don't have a pet?
No worries! We sell all of our human clothes separately!
How does Toby & Linus support animal rescues and shelters?
Toby & Linus is named after and inspired by our two rescue dogs: October and Linus. Since launching in 2024, we have donated pet clothing to shelters and rescues to help aid in adoptions. We have also donated portions of proceeds to causes such as Pasadena Humane during the LA wildfires. And while we do love all animals, on our website, we cast rescue animals as our models and include each pet's adoption story in the product descriptions.
Is your clothing size inclusive?
Toby & Linus was created by a plus-size entrepreneur with the intent of making a clothing brand that would one day be inclusive to humans and pets of all shapes and sizes. We currently carry sizes from XS-4XL for humans and XS-XL for pets. This is just the beginning for us, and with the support of customers like you, we hope to expand our sizes in the future.
Can I send Toby & Linus to someone as a gift?
Yes! Toby & Linus is the perfect gift for the pet parent in your life! All of our clothing is shipped in colorful packages and can be delivered to you or to whom the gift is for. Just make sure to check whose information is listed in the shipping address when you check out. We also offer free returns and exchanges. Please refer to our Refund policy for more information.
